Langar House

Langar House lies to the west of Hyderabad city and constitutes one of the suburban areas in the city. Golconda Road connects the region with the rest of the city. Langar House falls north of the famous Musi River that traverses Hyderabad city.

Langar House is essentially a residential area but the recent expansion of popular urban centre has brought many commercial enterprises into the region. Some locally famous residential place around here include Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Chhota Bazar, Balajinagar, Kampinibagh and Nanainagar.

There are few interesting place located in and around that are frequently visited by tourists throughout the calendar. Golconda Fort, the legacy left behind by the mighty Kakatiya empire of Deccan is one of the best attractions around. There are lot of interesting things to see inside this massive complex. Further north west and outside the complex are located Qutb Shahi Tombs.

Apart from residential places are present many small institutions like hospitals, schools, shopping stores and a number of business enterprises. The region like other western areas in the city sees a good number of IT related enterprises. The Supriya Super Market and Trinetra Super Market are two popular places to shop in the city. Among health care institutes Langar House Nursing Home and Government Hospital hold a special position.
