Keshavgiri is one of the suburbs lying towards the periphery
of Hyderabad city. The township falls to the north some fifteen
kilometres from the core city. Access is provide by two major roads
coming from the city center, Kishan Prasad Road and the south west,
DMRL Road. Keshavgiri is one remote area of the city and the region
has still to come a long way to compete with other urban areas.
Keshavgiri does not feature any tourist places or great commercial
places. There is but one tourist place in the nearby region of
Vetpalli called Faluknuma Palace. The palace is located on top of a
hill, about 2000 feet high, and as such the name Falaknuma (Falak
meaning sky). The region is provided by many small inhabited places.
Population density is less and so are the means and facilities
commonly found in the urban centres.
Keshavgiri provides a wonderful opportunity for the people
associated with the industry as the place is far from the prime
residential areas. Easy access to other places like Bangalore,
Mumbai and Pune, which is a common feature for the whole city makes
it vulnerable to the approaching business. With some great
technological parks not far from the place the region is likely to
be one of the targeted area in near future.
Accessibility :
- Keshavagiri can be reached via Sardar Patel Road or DMRL

The road distance from Afzal Ganj to Keshavagiri is about 15
kms.
- Falaknuma Railway Station lying north west of Keshavagiri is
the nearest rail head. It is not more than two kilometres from
the place.
- Hyderabad Airport lies to the far northern end, about 18 kms
from Keshavagiri.
