Location
Karimnagar lies to the north east of the capital city of Andhra
Pradesh state, Hyderabad. It is situated at a distance of about 154
kilometres from the latter city. Karimanagar proximate with the
northern most regions of the state. The place sees as its
neighboring regions the districts of Adilaad, Warrangal and
Nizamabad.

centre and features many sacred places. Karimnagar is provided with

prevalent here. River Godavari flows through the town and support

attractions. Holy places including Kaleshwaram, Kondgattu,
Vemulawada and Dharmapuri are very popular. These places represent
some of the ancient worshipping places in the region. The temples
erected here ear a great rush of the locals and pilgrims coming from
far off places. There is a fort at Elgandal that depicts the
grandeur and pompous style of living by the ancient kings. There is
a museum called Archeology Museum present in the town that contains
some fascinating archives and pieces belonging to some bygone era.
Accessibility
Karimnagar can be accessed by train via Warrangal. The trains from
Hyderabad goes through the region of Warrangal and then to
Karimnagar. There are bus services for Warrangal and from Warrangal
one can hit the road to Karimnagar.
