Amberpet

Amberpet, an eastern area in the Hyderabad city is one of the reputed learning centres in the sub continent. Amberpet is replete with academic and vocational training institutes. The locality marks one of the peripheral regions of the city and is connected by roads and railways lines. Amberpet Road that extends further east and into the region of Warrangal is the connecting link.

The north of Amberpet sees a number of educational institutes. The regions lying south make up the residential places. The residential places feature a network of small roads that divides these places into small regular segments or sectors. These roads terminate at the major link road that is Amberpet Road and thus help in easy mobility throughout the region.

The important institutes rooted here include Hyderabad Presidency College, Central Training Institute, Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Sanjeevani College of Physiotherapy Education, Advanced Training Institute, Government Homeopathic Medical College, Netaji Degree and P.G.College, Gyan Jyothi Junior College. The place as it provides for the best of the technical and vocational institutes is a real attraction for the trainess who are through their courses in hundreds of I.T.I s (Industrial Training Institute) spread across the nation. There is one more training centre at Amberpet but for military personnel only. The centre called Armed Reserved Police Training Centre lies in the Amberpet Extension just off the nearby road. The police line lies to the further south, just behind the training centre.

Ambarpet also houses many worshipping places. There are present several mosques, temples, churches and gurudwara, mostly at Ambarpet Extension.
