Abids

Abids is the central region in the Hyderabad city. The city that constitutes the capital of Andhra Pradesh, has been witnessing tremendous growth and development in the past decade. Abids represent the center of the city and is the hub of commercial activities around. The place is well connected to the rest of the city by several converging roads.

Towards the north west of Abids is located Government Archaeological Museum and Public Garden which constitute the popular attraction in the region. Academic institutes including St.Joseph's College, Nizam College and Telegu University are also housed in Abids. The region is further provided with a number of medical institutes including Surya, Care and CDR.

At Abids are located some fine market places and shopping stores. The stores and shops merchandise a wide range of products and goods from house hold items to office desks. There are numerous computer and accessories shops. A typical scene of the place reveals lots of hoarding hanging everywhere and possibly a hotel in the background.
